New Hours, Breakfast & More

Our summer break is over, and we are open again and looking forward to seeing all of our regular customers, as well as some new faces.

Our new hours are as follows:

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Closed Sunday

We’d like to see how these hours go, and adjust as/if needed.

Over the summer, we’ve been able to come up with an awesome breakfast menu. At present our menu for breakfast includes:

HOMEMADE BELGIAN WAFFLES

Optional toppings such as fresh seasonal fruit (currently peaches), peanut butter, Nutella, cream cheese, nuts, maple bacon bits and homemade hot fruit compote, real whipped cream. Essentially, it’s dessert for breakfast. You’re welcome.

WAFFLE BREAKFAST SANDWICH

Our homemade waffle doubled up as a sandwich, grilled with a fried egg, cheddar cheese, mixed greens, our homemade peach tomato salsa mayo, and your choice of  bacon, pea-meal bacon, farmer sausage or avocado.

HOMEMADE GRANOLA PARFAIT

Vanilla yogurt, homemade maple granola, and berry fruit sauce.

We’re looking forward to sharing these new creations with you!

Lastly, a quick construction update. The Northfield and Sawmill intersection is open again. YAY! The last phase of construction, which should last until end of October, is on the other end of Conestogo, so Sawmill Rd., bridge over the river, by the Golf course is not accessible during the day. If you’re coming from the Guelph direction, you can either head to Breslau, and take Bridgeport road all the way to Northfield, or take Elmira Rd. to Northfield, then head toward Conestogo. Inconvenient, for sure, but we hope you choose to make it out here despite that. It’s worth it, and we are endlessly grateful for those of you who have and continue to brave the construction to support local, independent businesses like ours. Seriously.

One more item – we have hired a new employee! We are excited to welcome Rebecca to the Rumbletum team. She’s already turning out to be such a great addition to our crew. Keep an eye out, and say hello!

That’s it for now, thanks again!
