Winter Hours and such

Well, as you can see by all my posts here, that this website is top priority for me. SIGH. I just never seem to find (or rather make) time to update , and post photos as I’d like. Anyway, just a quick note , that for JANUARY and FEBRUAURY we have switched to our winter hours , which means we are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Heidi and I are off to the gift show at the end of January, for a few days of looking, and ordering new product for the store.  We delved into the world of scarves and purses/handbags more during the Christmas season, and they did spectacularly well, so we are going to be getting more similar things in again over the next few months. (Right now are selection is very meager. We got cleared out! Which is good)

That’s it for now. Hopefully I’ll have something new to say soon, and not wait half a year again! Over and out!

Hand made jewellrey now for sale

Just a quick note to let you know, we now sell jewellery at Rumbletum. Heidi, (owner of Rumbletum), has started her own line of jewellery (that unstoppable creative streak, you know). A smallish selection is available at the moment, with more to come over the next weeks, including earrings, and necklaces. Pics to come soon. Stay tuned. Come in sometime, and have a peek.

Wedding Update

I realize this is quite after-the-fact, but better late than never, would apply here I believe, so let’s get on with it. The wedding went great. The weather cooperated wonderfully, the place looked amazing , (with the help of many hands), and the bride and groom successfully became husband and wife. Just how a wedding should turn out. Thy both looked smashing and a swell time was had by all. It was a relaxed atmosphere , just how they had envisioned all along.

I will post pictures soon, honestly, it’s just that finding the time to update this blog is harder than I imagined. But I just have to sit down one evening and , download the darn photos and be done with it.  Stay tuned.

Wedding at Rumbletum July 16- we shall be closed

Just a quick announcement. We are delighted to share, that a wedding will be taking place at Rumbletum cafe on July 16 ( a saturday). This is not something we usually do here at Rumbletum, but, this is quite the special occasion for some very special people. Andrea Cizej ( Heidi’s niece and past Rumbletum employee), has met a charming, up and coming artist, Andrew Frazer, all the way from down under (australia, that is mate), and they are declaring there love to the world in marriage. We are hosting the wedding here at the store, and as a result we shall be closed for business on that Saturday, july 16. Just so you know.

Rumbletum website coming soon

Hello all, well we here at Rumbletum have finally entered the digital age with our very own website. It won’t be fancy (just ain’t our style) , but will show our menu and hours and such, along with interesting tidbits and news, and photos. I’m new to all this so please be patient, besides, during the day I’m busy making veggie sandwiches.  Stay tuned!
